CGB-ECF. Isaac Morris MALTBY, b. Dec. 7, 1807, Paris, N.Y. (Ref.
"Roderick White and Descendants, p. 20") (Morris 5, Sam.4, Sam.3,
Sam.2, Wm.1). He m. (1) Lucinda STEDMAN, b. 1808; d. 1868 ae. 60-

and was a teacher until her marriage Mar. 23, 1869."
Note. This all pertains, clearly, to a second wife.
From Monuments at Sauquoit, N.Y., we learn that the 1st wife of Isaac
Morris Maltby was Lucinda:
"Lucinda S., wife of I.M. Maltby (Lucinda Steadman)
died April 6, 1868, aged 60
5 months and 11 days.
I. M. Maltby 1807-91."
(hence she was born in 1808).
In this book there are several other descents from Elder John
White--Elizabeth White, mother of Lucinda Murray, who mar. General
Isaac (4) Maltby; also of the compiler, through Maltby.
